Unique Gifts...Hand-Building with Clay Who: Ages 14 through Adult Where: Hilton Head Pottery When: Thursday evenings(6-8:00pm) Starts: Sept. 17, 2026, 4-week sessions How Long: 2 Hour Class Cost: $175/session (includes all materials: clay, glazes, and firing costs) This class is designed for beginners and for those who have taken beginning pottery classes and want to focus on hand-building. We will create a collection of unique gifts, such as nesting bowls, woven baskets, birdhouses, and more! We'll provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to create a variety of forms, both decorative and functional. Learning to create textures, sculpt, and alter forms is part of the projects you will create. Give yourself a treat with the perfect creative outlet! Typically, first-time students may take this class more than once as they develop the skills needed to progress to the next level of instruction. Our teaching method is hands-on, and class sizes are intentionally small, allowing us to provide individualized attention as needed. Projects will be fired twice and will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the class ends. You will have one-of-a-kind pieces to display and use in your home...all made by you! This class is fun and low-key... we want you to learn what it takes to create a piece of pottery, but it's equally important that you have a good experience. This Class is limited to 10 participants
