Ford’s Shell Ring Park (an archaeological site listed on the National Register of Historic Places) will open Friday, Oct. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at 273 Squire Pope Road, with organizers providing shuttle service from 133 Squire Pope Road and a docent-led tour to explain the shell rings' significance.
