NOAA Fisheries extends the red snapper season for South Atlantic anglers with a three-day federal period starting Oct.
9 at 12:01 a.m. and ending Oct. 12 (with a one-fish-per-person limit and no minimum size) while South Carolina permit holders can fish until Oct. 22.
