The Current Table: Dinner Club

The Current GA is bringing people together for good food, great conversation and new connections with The Current Table, a new dinner club launching in Savannah on Thursday, Nov. 19.

Participants sign up online, answer a few questions about their interests and dining preferences, and are matched with a small group for dinner at a local restaurant. The restaurant is revealed the morning of the event, adding a little anticipation to the evening.

Whether it's a chance to make new friends, try somewhere different or simply enjoy a night out with new faces, The Current Table takes care of the matching and reservations. Multiple groups may dine at different restaurants around Savannah on the same evening.

There's no formal program or agenda, just an opportunity to share a meal and see where the conversation goes.

Advance registration is required. Participants purchase a ticket to join and pay for their own food and drinks at the restaurant. Proceeds support The Current GA's independent, nonprofit journalism across Coastal Georgia.
